Sunday Gravy
aka Pasta with a lot of meat


  • 4 large cans of tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp basil
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 5-7 cloves of garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Pasta
  • Bone-in meats (Pork chops, Lamb chops, veal chops, chicken legs)
  • Cheap Red Wine (optional)

1. For the sauce: follow the recipe for Coop Spaghetti.

2. Season your meats with salt and pepper and brown them on a frying pan coated with olive oil on medium-high heat for about 3 minutes per side.

3. Once the meat is browned, dump it into your sauce, pour in the wine, and let cook semi-covered for about 3 hours or until the  meat falls off the bone.

4. Eat with some pasta, bread, wine, and close friends.
